"I am inspired by a less is more approach influenced by Scandinavian and mid-century Modern design."
I graduated from the Centre for Fine Woodworking (Nelson) in 2012. Now living on the Coromandel Peninsula, I design and create a variety of fine woodwork in my studio workshop.
Using locally sourced timbers, native and exotic, new and recycled, I am inspired by a less is more approach – influenced by Scandinavian and Mid-century Modern design. I use a range of hand and power tools. Everything I make is hand finished with either Shellac, Danish Oil or homemade bees wax polish to enhance the beauty of the wood.
My studio is open to the public during the Mercury Bay Art Escape which takes place over the first two weekends in March. Visitors are also welcome by appointment.
